I’m excited to share with you all that Logistics will now be posting weekly encouragements on Wednesday aka hump day. We will be having various students write about a passage that has been meaningful to them and hopefully you will find it as an encouragement as you continue on in your week. We pray that you will be uplifted and reminded that you are not alone in what you face on a daily and weekly basis. God is always there and your Lighthouse community is also here to love, encourage, cheer you on and pray for you. With all that said, I’m happy to present our first weekly post:
I read through James recently and this one verse stood out to me:
“Come near to God and he will come near to you” – James 4:8
Throughout these first few weeks of school and all the stress that comes with it, this verse has really encouraged me to go to God with whatever problems I’m facing. Through the new classes, challenging college essays and tiring late nights, it’s been encouraging to just pray to God about all of it and knowing that He is there with me through it all. I’ve also been listening to Christian music on the way to school and it just reminds me that even if the day might be full of confusing lessons and tests and quizzes, God is there and there is peace knowing that.
If y’all are struggling with stress from school, extracurriculars, college apps etc. I would encourage you to just go to God and pray about it all. God is your Abba father, who cares so much about you and will always have your best interest in mind. He will be there to guide you and to help you through anything and everything you are facing.
