In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. - Matthew 5:16
COUNSELORS
The Youth Ministry at ACC is called Lighthouse with the intention of shepherding and growing students into men and women who can shine the Gospel into a dark and broken world.
Lighthouse counselors are called to model Christ’s love through developing purposeful relationships with students in order to foster their growth and build disciples who love God and love others.
Lighthouse counselors meet with 6th - 12th grade students on Friday nights and Sunday mornings in small groups; playing, sharing, discussing, and praying together with their students. Lighthouse counselors help create a culture where Lighthouse is a safe place for students to be real, a place where grace, genuine and not cheap, is administered, and a place where discipline, accountability and truth telling is practiced.
